In 2015, we were called by the head engineer in charge of hiring contractors for work at the White House. This man called and asked a lot of questions about what he wanted done.
I suggested a free estimate so the technician could see the things needed to be worked on as well as give them a written estimate. He said to us that he did not need an estimate in person, ballpark over the phone was fine. He went on to say that he asked around about Bathtub Refinishing Contractors. He told me that each and every contractor he asked told him to not waste his time and to just call us because we were the best.
Now we do not service DC only NoVA but you know what? You don’t get to be asked to work on a restoration project at White House often so an exception was made. They were thrilled with our work. We were thrilled to do it. This employee of the WH who we worked with on logistics and security told us that some of the fixtures we were refinishing and repairing were there since the fire.
They always prefer to restore than replace anything in the White House.
We were proud to do our part to restore the items to their magnificent original glory in America’s House.
